Red Roof Inn Toledo - Maumee

I stayed here for a while while waiting for my apartment in the area, and it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean, the beds were decent, and the front desk staff were kind and tried their best to help. Thanks so much for your assistance. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk people were great, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows felt weird. The vanity light was sticking out and the coffee maker was broken. We were only there for a night to get some rest, so it did the job. The coffee at the front desk was bad, though.

The room had an old cover with holes in it that smelled bad, plus a can of Mult beer left in the fridge. The room was supposed to be non-smoking. There were plenty of empty rooms since we checked in around 11 p.m. on Saturday 5/6/2025, but they put us in room 136. I went out for ice and saw nicer rooms were available. We were tired after working all day and wanted a quiet night alone, but my boyfriend had to knock on the lobby door for about 20 minutes before I finally called inside. The woman answered and came to unlock it, but customer service sucked. I didn’t go back to the lobby in the cold after the front desk woman didn’t answer and had locked the doors. We also requested late checkout until noon, then a housekeeper banged on our door at 11:30 a.m. She should have had it on her board. We won’t return or recommend this place.

For $60 a night, I’d come back. The bed was clean, the room was quiet, and the shower was hot. The room and furnishings were a bit old and worn, but that’s what I’d expect at that price. The pillows were an odd mix: one fluffy, one hard as a rock, and one small and worn. My friend had an en suite and heard some noise from the next room. Apart from that, it was fine.
