Quality Inn & Suites Mooresville - Lake Norman

We booked ahead as Choice members, so check-in was quick and easy. Our ground-floor room was right by the parking lot. The TV, refrigerator, and AC all worked well, and the beds were firm but comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, though clearly aged. At first we heard doors opening and closing and a shower running, which concerned us, but things quieted down at a reasonable hour. It's a good budget hotel, handy for Charlotte via nearby I-77, as well as shopping and restaurants. We'd stay again if our travel plans brought us this way.

The location is everything, the rooms are very clean, and the staff were so nice. My reservation had somehow gone missing, but manager Depin Patel patiently worked with me even while I was frustrated and found it. His customer service skills are impeccable. I'll be back.

Just an overnight stop for us. The room smelled good, and even though I'd booked a smoking room, there were no burns or bad smells. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and it was quiet. Both the evening and morning staff were pleasant. We didn't stay for breakfast.

We picked this place because the pool was advertised, but it wasn't open this year, which was a big deal for us. The breakfast yogurt was four days past its date. Gold members are supposed to be able to check in early and leave late, but that didn't happen, or the staff didn't know about it.
