Quality Inn McComb

I can't say whether every room is like this, but mine was dirty and smelled really musty. Whatever mold or mildew is in the AC unit gave me a terrible headache. I'm in physical pain (>_

We came for a good night's rest and got none. There was partying and noise outside our room all night, and when my boyfriend told the manager, he denied it had happened, even though we believe it's on camera. The AC and fridge kept making loud ringing noises too, so neither of us slept a wink. Our room, #227, had blood on the pillows, stained blankets, spots everywhere, and was just filthy. We asked for another night, half off, a refund, or some other compensation. The manager said he couldn't do anything, and told us we should have gotten out of bed at 11:30 at night to request a room change. I paid for a supposedly clean, decent room. The manager was very disrespectful and didn't seem to care about accommodating me or my boyfriend. I asked his name after asking if he was the manager, and he said Kevin. When I said I'd have to write a bad review since he didn't care about customers, he said, “thank you.” I said, “NO THANK YOU!” What was he thanking me for, after I paid $100 for a horrible night? I wanted to give zero stars, or even negative 500, but that wasn't an option. I'm usually someone who never gets on here to write these. Do NOT stay here. May 24, 2026.

The breakfast was supposed to be continental, but there was barely any hot sausage, eggs, or biscuits, and we had to ask for waffle mix. Cats fed by the hotel staff kept hanging around, and people were arguing and gambling in or near the parking lot. Out back there were no garbage cans, trash bags sitting in the lot, litter on the ground, and leaves everywhere. We had booked ten days ahead for a first-floor, non-smoking room at the front, but staff argued with us at check-in and still put us on the back side. We have a small Poodle and limited choices in McComb. We'd stayed here several times, but this was by far the worst. We always bring cleaning supplies, and this time the room was so filthy we could see dirt on the chairs, lamps, tables, headboards, light switches, and in the bathroom. When we got back from the funeral, I killed a roach crawling up the wall. This is the worst hotel we've stayed in, and I don't plan to return to this Quality Inn EVER, AGAIN!!!!!

The housekeeper knocked at 8am to clean the room, and at 9am there was no breakfast. The owner's son made us some food, though, and he was very nice. As for the room, it was disgusting: reddish-brown streaks on the toilet and down the bathroom wall, brown mess on the walls, mildew all over the bathroom ceiling, pubic hair on a wall, and a filthy shower. I'm not usually picky, but this was not clean. I wouldn't recommend it.
