Park Inn Harrisburg West, PA

The front desk associate was very friendly and the room was decently clean, but the bathroom really needed its seals redone. We chose this place mainly because of the handicap pool chair, and it was out of service, which was extremely disappointing. The mini golf area was too overgrown to use. For the room price and these issues, I wouldn't come back. The lobby looks nice until you realize it has outdoor access like a motel.

The wedding itself was great, and management was decent. I booked a few rooms for it in a nearby town, and didn't hear complaints about the rooms. But the bar staff were so incompetent it's hard to overstate. If you look like me, you might get what I mean and have a less than great time. It’s a good-looking venue, but poor bar and entertainment management really wastes it.

I was there for a conference, not an overnight stay. The larger conference room had good acoustics and A/V equipment, with comfortable tables and seating. It was a little warm, but the beverage and snack service was fine, and staff seemed attentive.

The restaurant and bar were excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional. Room #1226 was clean and well maintained, though it could use some fresh paint and a little cosmetic work. It’s not a five-star property, but I was pleased and it exceeded my expectations. Good value for the price, and I’ll definitely come back. I’m glad I checked it out instead of listening to the negative reviews.
