I found a bed bug on my pillow during the night, then saw several more when I got up to check. It was alarming, so I packed my things right away and took precautions when I got home. I wasn’t bitten and nothing happened to my belongings, but I had to cancel my work trip and it really affected my peace of mind. I hope management inspects and treats room 114 carefully so other guests don’t go through the same thing. This was my second stay here. My first visit went smoothly, which made this one ending so abruptly all the more disappointing. The staff who helped me were professional and helpful, and I appreciate that.

The indoor pool was a hit with my kids, especially in cold weather. The people checking us in, serving breakfast, and welcoming us in the evenings made the stay even better. They were a big part of why we had such a good time. Jason at the desk was top notch, too. The price is modest, which worked well for us since we wanted a good deal near shops and groceries. It’s right between Jersey and South Carolina, so my family had about a five-hour drive either way.

We were here for a soccer tournament, and Kwame and the team kept in touch by text during our stay to make sure everything was going well. They were very polite and the service was excellent. The rooms were clean, and the housekeepers were friendly whenever we saw them. Thanks again, the hotel and staff are top notch.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. We did have a lot of road noise at night, though. The alarm clock in our room had a preset alarm that wouldn’t stop until we unplugged it and took out the batteries.

The location worked perfectly for us, with everything nearby and the downtown Richmond convention center only a 12-15 minute drive away. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool.
