Candlewood Suites Medford by IHG

I travel for work, and this place made my stay especially easy. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything I usually bring: pots and pans, dishes and utensils, glasses, a toaster, dishwasher, microwave, stove, dish soap, and Dove hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Downstairs, there are two gas barbecues that get cleaned every day. They also have free coffee available around the clock, free laundry, and a little store inside. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and this was one of the best for hospitality. Thanks for the stay!

My first time at a Candlewood Suites was a good one. The room was clean and modern, and the customer service was excellent. The front desk team and shuttle drivers were especially helpful. There may be nicer places around town, but for a stay near the airport, I can’t think of a better option for service and shuttle help.

We’ll use this place for early flights and late arrivals at Medford Airport. It’s easy to get there by complimentary shuttle, and you can leave your car at the hotel for less than long-term airport parking. With 24-hour security, we felt comfortable leaving it there. Check-in and checkout were simple, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet, away from freeway and hallway noise. The heat and air unit makes a steady white noise, but it didn’t keep us awake. Beds are comfortable, and the room has a desk or table, chairs, a dresser, and a recliner. The bathroom is roomy, with a full-size closet too. There’s no breakfast on site, but the kitchen in the room makes that manageable. It has a full-size fridge, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, and the basic supplies. A pantry sells convenience foods at reasonable prices, and grocery stores are nearby. This would work well for extended work stays or couples exploring the area.

At 3:30 in the morning, check-in was still easy. The front desk person could tell I was worn out after a long travel day and was really helpful. My room was orderly and very clean, with none of the previous guest smell you sometimes get in hotels, and no trace of smoke. Kudos to Sandra, the room attendant. I’d recommend it, and hotel apps may help you find the best price.
