River Palm Hotel

It was a good price, and having a microwave and fridge in the clean, recently renovated room was useful. I needed to ask for a blanket, though I couldn't get a hair dryer, and the towels were thin and very small. The room had most of what I needed. The road outside is busy, but the noise wasn't too bad, and we were fairly close to town. Night staff were friendly and helpful. At other times, finding someone to help could be difficult, and people sometimes had to wait while staff took lunch breaks. I’d stay again.

The beds were comfortable, and the price was fair. But the tile floors were really dirty, and the towels, hand towel, and washcloths were stained. The bedspread had no padding and felt more like a sheet. The so-called cable TV ran through a streaming service that was awkward to use.

Check-in was quick and easy, thanks to the friendly staff. My room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the place felt safe and welcoming. It’s conveniently located and good value for the price. I’d come back.

I’ve been coming here for years and honestly love it. It’s quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors and staff are all nice, respectful, and easy to deal with. You’ve got a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, a good shower, TV and WiFi, pretty much what I need in a place to stay and watch some TV. I don’t get the bad reviews. It’s my favorite hotel in Melbourne. Thanks again to everyone there, and God bless you all. Much love.
