Crown Inn

I've stayed here plenty of times before, but this visit was the worst, and it'll stick with me. I paid for the room at 3:15 p.m. but didn't get to it until around 8 or 9. The door was open when I arrived, the room was filthy, and the TV was on. The front desk didn't help when I went to report it. I left the pizza I'd picked up in the room, and when I came back from the office, roaches were all over it. Then, while I was trying to use the bathroom, the upstairs toilet flushed and water started leaking through the ceiling onto me. Rooms 107-111 and even 118, which had a jacuzzi, had been great for me before. Room 122 was the worst. I wouldn't recommend that room, or the hotel at this point, to anyone. It's a disgrace.

There were lots of people hanging around, and it made me feel a bit unsafe. Yelling and other loud sounds kept coming from outside well past midnight. I paid $47 for a room that was kind of a dump, though the bed was comfortable. If you're used to quality motels, keep driving. This place isn't one.

The room has been upgraded, but the surrounding area hasn't. People on the property are very nosy, so be careful about what you do when checking in or out. They've changed the rules, so I guess that's okay now.

The room smelled bad and was dirty, with trash still on the floor and in a corner. The toilet had overflowed, and they'd only put towels around it. There was still stuff on the shower floor too. The older man at the front desk was hateful and rude, while the young man working this morning was pleasant. I'd give it negative stars if I could.
