We ended up staying in a fourth room because it was cleaner, but that was after three awful attempts. The first room was nasty, with red stuff and dirt all over the pullout couch. The second had what looked like dog hair and blood on the pullout bed. In the third, the mattress had what appeared to be pee stains and the room stank. When the woman said the fourth was one of their better rooms, I wondered if they already knew the first three were bad and tried to put us in them anyway. I was traveling with young kids and we arrived very late. We were exhausted, and I didn't want to be out in Memphis at midnight searching for another hotel, so we stayed one night. In the morning I told manager Iris what happened. She apologized, then said extended-stay hotels tend to be dirtier than normal hotels. I said rooms still need cleaning and mattresses should be replaced. She told me management and the owners weren't going to spend money fixing or replacing things, that it was what it was. Not cool. I saw three other people checking in that night with similar problems. Please stay somewhere else. The health department needs to hear about this. I'll add pictures later if I can.

We came for work and have been here over three months with our baby. The pool was supposed to open the week we arrived, but it still hasn't. Breakfast is usually nearly gone even when we get there early, with just packaged muffins and breakfast bars. Dogs aren't allowed in the elevator, and I don't know why. The bathroom has black mold and the A/C smells musty. If you stay longer than a week, they clean the room only once every two weeks. Ask them to come again and they'll refuse, then hand over cleaning supplies. The worst part was staff knocking at midnight about towels left in the hallway, waking our infant after we'd just gotten them to sleep. That could've waited until morning. It wasn't a great stay, though at least we had a place to sleep and shower. I really don't appreciate them waking my baby over towels.

The staff were great: the late night desk agent was quick and efficient, and the cleaners seemed to do what they could with what they had, though some trash was left in the kitchen cabinets. Still, I couldn't recommend this place in good conscience. Our room looked nothing like the website photos. It was old, dirty, and smelled bad, with a grimy carpet. The hallways and room smelled of marijuana, must, and mold. The remote was gone and the bedframe was broken. More than that, we worried about the air quality and bedbugs or other pests, and were too scared to even get breakfast after trying to sleep there. Somehow our cars weren't broken into, so there's that.

I stayed for a week, and Shanty, I believe that was her name, was so professional, friendly, and attentive to us and everyone I saw come in. She went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed and made us feel at home.

Housekeeping was amazing, and our room was clean and up to standard. All the employees treated us really nicely, especially Ms Shantae at the front desk. If we ever downsized our home, we'd love to make this our permanent home. Thanks for everything, our stay felt amazing!
