Memorylane Inn & Suites

The room was awful, very dirty and disgusting. We’d traveled in from Oklahoma and arrived around 3am, with this being the closest place we could find to sleep for a couple of hours. We stayed until about 730am and paid $99, which I feel should have been discounted much more. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The reason I’m giving even one star is that the front desk clerk was accommodating when we arrived late at night and was honest about the room’s condition. He was amazing.

We arrived tired and after dark, and the staff seemed nice. In the morning we found dirty drawers, a sticky countertop, and a filthy couch we wouldn’t sit on. Blue tape was holding up the tub shelf, and it looked like caulk had gotten on the counter. There was no coffee pot or coffee, no tissues, and no lamps. The TV remote barely worked, and the freezer was iced up. This place could be nice if the rooms were better maintained and set up.

We left because the place was so disgusting. The towels were dirty and stained, there was no hot water, and the furniture was held together with blue tape. Locals were blasting music and doing drug deals in the parking lot. Do NOT stay here, it’s filthy.

We wanted a Jacuzzi suite after a long drive, and the room was OK. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the quiet area meant we slept well. Staff were friendly and accommodating, though they couldn’t find extra pillows when we asked. There were only three on the king bed. Breakfast is just toast, cereal, and coffee. We might have stayed another night if the price were lower. Add a little more to breakfast and bring the cost down some, and it’d be a better deal.
