Hu. Hotel

We had a great stay and I'd come back. The staff were friendly and professional, from the front desk women to the breakfast crew, and Deadrick especially made me feel like I'd paid twice as much. Breakfast was a tasty all-you-can-eat meal for $10 per person a day. The older hotel has a few ratty carpets, but our room was nice. It was around a 10-15 minute walk to Beale St and close to lots of restaurants. The room could've been bigger, though I understand the limits of an older building. The bathroom took up a lot of space, so a table or some kind of storage there would've helped.

Easy access to the parking garage made coming and going simple, and the location put us close to everything we wanted to see around the city. The staff were organized, friendly, and welcoming, so check-in and the rest of the stay went smoothly. Our room was clean, beautiful, and well kept, a comfortable place to relax after being out. Hu Hotel made for a pleasant stay.

Beale St is an easy walk, and the staff had good suggestions for nearby places to check out. I liked chatting with everyone, and Deadrick and Ebony were especially great with customer service. Downtown Memphis didn't disappoint!

The rooftop bar view is worth catching around sunset, and the staff there and throughout the hotel were terrific. Ms. Eboni at the front desk was pleasant and so helpful. We stayed three days and had no regrets.
