Brewery Gulch Inn

We stayed in the Lookout room, which was spacious and had a lovely coast view. The bed was comfortable, and we kept the windows open to listen to the sounds outside. Having breakfast and dinner included was a nice bonus. Such a relaxing stay, and we'll definitely return.

We picked Brewery Gulch for our honeymoon and loved the location. The room was really comfortable, and we enjoyed quiet time on the deck, snacking, chatting, and looking out at the ocean. Staff were very attentive. The hosted light meal and wine in the evening made the visit stand out. What a wonderful inn.

The one person who made a positive impression was the gentleman at the bar during wine hour. He clearly understood guest service. The rest of the stay was very disappointing, especially for a special occasion. Our prepaid booking was charged again at check-in, and staff kept directing us to Expedia instead of fixing it. They only dealt with the issue and contacted me about a refund after we had returned home, which was extremely frustrating. Our 4:30 pm spa appointment was also cancelled without proper notice. We were celebrating my partner's birthday, and the experience was ruined. On top of that, my request to avoid red meat was completely ignored at dinner. Future guests should know about these problems.

We paid $620 for a grungy room in a strange inn and felt suckered in by the reviews, which must have been heavily edited. This was nowhere near a five-star place. There was dingy brown shag carpet, oily marks where other guests had rested their heads on the headboards, mismatched furniture, and sticky surfaces. The rooms seemed full of dust mites and who knows what else. Yuck. Just no. Check the photos below. You'll be so disappointed if you stay here.
