Slumber Motel

The rooms are filthy, low quality, and look like they haven’t been updated in decades. Even the sign by the highway gives you an idea of the place. The staff and family at the front desk are very nice and helpful, which is why I can’t give it just one star. I wish the rooms were as good as their service.

The staff were nice, but the hotel was old and grungy, in a neighborhood with a lot of homelessness and drugs. When we arrived, there was feces on the bathroom floor, and both the towels and sheets were dirty and badly stained, even though they looked like they’d been washed.

I prepaid for an online reservation, but couldn’t cancel without paying a $270 fee. The management seemed clueless. They couldn’t simply check me into the room I’d booked, and I lost a lot of money while trying to save by staying somewhere cheap. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. It’s also the town’s biggest hotspot for buying drugs, in my opinion.

The room was big, tidy, and clean, and you can park right in front of it. They provide things for making coffee, but there’s no filter, so you can’t actually drink it. Everything else was great.
