TownePlace Suites by Marriott Merced

I usually stay at the Marriott Courtyard, but for a few days in town I wanted a kitchen, so I tried TownePlace. Evelyn gave me a warm welcome at check-in and explained the hotel features. My room was spotless, with the extra towels I’d requested in the app. Thanks, Luz! I also got my morning workouts in at the great 24/7 gym. Kit made sure breakfast had plenty of choices and was clean, and helped me with the waffle maker. It was delicious, though as someone who doesn’t eat pork, I wish there’d been turkey or beef sausage. One evening I chatted in the lobby with Stephanie, I think that was her name. She suggested an ice cream cup snack, which was fantastic, and was lovely to talk with. The staff tipping postcard with the QR code is a nice touch. I tipped everyone I met, though I didn’t see Stephanie on the list. Thanks to everyone for making the stay so enjoyable!

We only needed a night, and the freeway and small local conveniences were easy to reach. The staff were friendly. Our room had a musty smell, and the TV wasn’t hooked up, but maintenance came quickly to help. In the morning we realized the bathroom outlets didn’t work, which made getting ready a challenge. I let the front desk know when checking out.

I arrived at 6 AM, worn out and feeling sick from a road trip, with no reservation. They got me a lovely room right away, no fuss, and I could finally rest. The location was easy, and these folks really helped me out. Thank you!

I had such a great stay at TownePlace Suites Merced! AJ went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, and the engineer was helpful and friendly too. Everyone at the front desk was phenomenal, always smiling and making me feel at home. The hospitality was unmatched. Thanks to the whole team for making my stay so wonderful!
