The hosts were incredibly helpful when we asked what to do around town, and the Inn is just a short walk from downtown Meredith. We picked the Tuckernuck Inn for a quick weekend away and were glad we did. Our room was clean and air conditioned, and breakfast was incredible both mornings. There was even a different cookie in the common area each day to grab on our way in or out. Highly recommend staying here if you’re spending a few days around Meredith.

Every day brought an awesome breakfast. The blueberry muffins and cinnamon pancakes were my favorites. The owners are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The location is quiet but still close to downtown Meredith, and soothing music plays in the common area during the day. They bake treats and leave them by the entrance. The bed felt a little firm to me, and the TV in the room was small, though we hardly watched it. We’ve already recommended the place to friends and hope to return.

I had the best French toast I’ve ever tasted, and the welcome was extremely cordial. The place was quiet, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. It made a perfect peaceful retreat by the lake, with the beauty and tranquility of the Meredith region to enjoy. Thanks so much for having me!

Anne-Marie and Tom were wonderful hosts and shared useful tips about the local area. The welcome was warm and friendly, and breakfast felt excellent and homely. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The Tuckernuck Inn is charming and well presented, and perfectly placed for exploring the local lakes and wider New England.
