We were six people here for three days, and our room never got cleaned. Whenever we asked for washcloths, the employees gave us attitude. One even laughed when I asked for two more pillows for the pull-out bed and asked whether we already had pillows on the beds. The suite was dirty too: hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, dirty floors, and an unkempt kitchen. It felt like they’d only wiped the surfaces. I won’t stay here on another trip to Springfield.

It’s been a rough month with my mom in and out of the hospital, and I’ve been making the 5.5+ hour trip to Springfield and staying here at the hospital discount rate. The location is convenient, breakfast has good options, and the coffee’s there when I need it. Our room has been clean and spacious, and the whole place has felt comfortable during a heavy time. The staff have been so pleasant. Thank you all, you’re wonderful.

We picked this hotel for the EV charging and stayed one night while driving my Tesla. There are three Tesla NACS Level 2 chargers at the back of the building, with really long cables. They cost 30 cents per KWH, but I booked the EV charger rate, showed the front desk guy my Tesla app receipts at checkout, and he credited me for them. The room was neat and good enough for the night. It’s across from a Walgreens, which made it easy to grab snacks and things we’d forgotten. I’d stay again for the chargers and that convenient location.

The rooms and service were great, and the Springfield location is really handy. Breakfast is the usual hotel selection. Parking’s free here, unlike at the Residence Inn.

If you’re hoping for quiet, skip this place. There was hammering all day, from 9 to 6, and when I asked about it, the front desk said it was on me because the Marriott app had an “under renovation” tag. They offered no option except to stay somewhere else. They could have put guests in rooms away from the construction, but apparently it was too much greed or incompetence to do that. I’ve stayed here more than 10 times, and I’m done.
