Extended Stay America Merrillville US Rte. 30

The room was clean, and we slept without any disturbances. We were visiting family over the holidays, and the staff were wonderful. The woman at the front desk was delightful and had blue in her hair, though I completely forgot her name. It was affordable and otherwise a great place to stay. My complaints were the “breakfast,” which was muffins, cereal bars, and coffee, and the heater. I couldn't get the room temperature down, but didn't mention it because I didn't want to bother the staff.

I felt so comfortable and welcome that I stayed an extra day. I'd driven from OR to NY, and this was my favorite stop on I84. My belongings felt completely safe, and I could see my car from the room. The suites are spacious, clean, and quiet, and the staff were thoughtful, helpful, and kind. They were good with my dog, too, with doggy bags and an area just for pups that helped my Beni relax. The location is handy for travelers, with gas stations, a shopping strip, different food options, and a car cleaning place just a short drive away. It was my first time in Indiana, and the kindness here and in the surrounding area made the extended stay especially nice. You can tell they're doing what they can to make this a great place to stay. The rooms are huge and inexpensive, and the quality for the price is hard to beat.

Sherry, the General Manager, is wonderful at her job. Her staff made sure I was comfortable and looked after. If you're choosing an Extended Stay America, this is the one I'd pick.

The whole visit was easy and pleasant, thanks to a really welcoming, helpful team. Everyone from maintenance and housekeeping to the front desk was great. I especially love LOVEY and Keirra, who are always friendly and go out of their way to help. I've had a great stay at the Extended Stay in Merrillville. The place is clean and welcoming, and I'd recommend it for either a short or long stay.
