Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mesa Near Phoenix

I live in Mesa and stayed here while my home was being renovated. The room was spotless, the towels fresh, and there was plenty of nicely scented lotion, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Every staff member I came across was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The pool and fitness area look lovely at night, and the vending machines were well stocked. For the price, cleanliness, and attentive staff, five stars. I'll send visiting friends and family here from now on. One heads-up if you book through a third party like hotels.com and plan to bring pets: confirm with the hotel before arrival that the booking actually includes a pet room. I decided not to bring my cats, so it didn't affect me, but my pet request through hotels.com hadn't been passed on to the hotel.

We had to arrive at 5:45 in the morning because of a family emergency, and the front desk helped us check in early. They were friendly and helpful from the start. The room was very clean, and the mattresses were comfortable. Housekeeping kept us supplied with what we needed, and the hot breakfast was very good. I was unsure what to expect from the room and service, but they earned five stars from me. I'd recommend them and stay again.

Breakfast was just a little better than okay, though still nowhere near good. The coffee gets about 4.5 out of 10. The bed was reasonably comfortable and cleanliness met expectations. Nothing here stood out. It's not bad, but it's not good either.

Being right by the pool was a real plus for us, with easy access and a nice feel to it. The staff were welcoming and kind on every shift, which made the stay much better. Comfortable and convenient, and we'd definitely recommend the place.
