The staff were friendly, and breakfast was simple: yogurt, cereal, apples wrapped in plastic, juice, and really great coffee. We had the impression from a couple of other reviews that they might close the breakfast area early, and they tried to do that while we were there. The dining spot is basically in the lobby. The hotel was generally good, and I might stay again, just not in the King suite on the ground floor. It’s beside the side exit, so you hear and feel people coming and going early or late. The door has no hydraulic closer, slams hard, and makes the room vibrate. If I booked the suite again, I’d choose the second floor, though I didn’t see an elevator. The people upstairs, I think four girls, stomped around until almost 10:30pm. Not the hotel’s fault, just a heads-up. The suite itself was okay. I didn’t use the living area much, and from the sofa the TV wasn’t easy to see. There was no table lamp, although there was an end table where one could’ve gone. The coffee table had shaky legs, so I didn’t trust it with even a 32oz drink. The bed and bath were good, as was the shower pressure. Bring your own pillow: they may give you 4-6, but they’re all too puffy and kink your neck. I tried flattening one for five minutes and ended up using a corner. Breakfast was about as basic as it gets. The apples were wrapped in plastic, so unwrapping them took longer than eating them. I’d give it 3 1/2 stars if I could, but four is okay.

This is a good value if you just need a clean, affordable, no-frills place to stop and sleep while traveling. The rooms were clean and the staff nice. Breakfast was the usual cereal, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, apples, and similar basics. Five stars for delivering what it sets out to be.

The hotel was comfortable and fine overall, but someone from management knocked on my door ten minutes before checkout and asked me to leave. It came across less like a helpful reminder and more like being pushed out early. Not how I wanted my morning to begin. I’ve changed my rating from two stars to four after management responded thoughtfully and politely. I’m happy to give this location another chance next time I’m nearby. If there’s no early door knock then, I’ll raise the review to five stars.

The hotel is conveniently located near an exit, with several restaurants within a five-minute drive. Fat Edd's is worth recommending. Our room was fairly clean and the bed was okay. We took the stairs to the second floor because we didn’t see an elevator, then spotted one at the other end of the hallway the next morning. That area looked a bit like a service elevator space, and there were several cockroaches on the walls there.

I was traveling to say a final goodbye to a family member, and money was tight after remodeling my home, moving, and being laid off. I’d sold things to make the trip happen. After 12 hours of driving with another 12 ahead, this hotel meant I didn’t have to worry about affording a hearty meal. It gave me snacks for the next day, and money for flowers and gifts for my grandfather. I’m not sure I would’ve stopped driving otherwise. I can’t say I was safe to keep going, but it was too cold to sleep in the car. This place made it possible to stop safely. Clean sheets and bathrooms and a good price may sound like small things, but they mattered a lot to me. I’ll be working remotely now and able to visit family more, and this hotel is on my route. I’ll be back. The owner is running a good business that serves the community and brings business to the neighbors, who owe them thanks. This was a fantastic one-night stay, and I’ll make a point of using this hotel whenever I take the same trip again. I almost doubted the reviews for an $88 hotel with a 9.7 rating, but now I believe them. Outside, the grounds were tidy, mostly free of garbage, even the kind that flies in and gets stuck. The building looked older, but seemed well maintained and recently redone. The front office looked remodeled, parking was plentiful, and wheelchair access should be easy. Check-in was incredibly easy, even though I booked from the parking lot to get the great online price. The desk agent got me on my way and into bed quickly. That man had worked long hours and was back at the desk the next morning, looking pretty sleepy. Check-out was simple and quick too. The room looked almost untouched, as if I were the first person to sleep in it. If it wasn’t newly remodeled, I’d be impressed by how well the place is maintained. Everything looked carefully cleaned, and the sheets were spotless. I wouldn’t usually risk taking a bath in a hotel, but I seriously considered it here because the tub looked freshly scrubbed. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful, with easily reached amenities. They also seemed easy to access for someone with a disability. To the owner, thank you. You’re running a business that served me at exactly the right time. I wanted to share my sincere thanks publicly and give credit where it’s due.
