It’s been six days and my AC still hasn’t been replaced. I’ve called the “office” countless times and still haven’t gotten a solution. It feels like they’re laughing in my face. I’m sure they’ll be quick enough to collect my rent, though. I feel mistreated, and I’m getting sick. Without AC I can’t sleep properly, and it’s affecting my job and keeping me from my usual life.
We left in under an hour, just long enough to find somewhere else to stay. The room had dirty, crumpled sheets, hair in the bathroom, raised floorboards we could trip over, and a broken door that didn’t feel secure. I called the property and spoke with Barbara, who was helpful at first. She arranged for someone to inspect the room and said they would accept the 100% refund they were requesting. I then reported it to Booking and asked for a refund. Our reservation was for 12/27/2024 to 01/02/2025, but as of 01/09/2022, the property still wasn’t responding to Booking. They also never told us that the reservation had not happened or had been cancelled. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.
I really enjoyed the apartment and loved every corner of it. I had a little trouble with the code, but it was resolved. I’ve stayed in this area before, more specifically on Oceab Drive. The apartment was complete and had everything.
