Churchill Suites Monte Carlo Miami Beach

I stayed for three nights on an October 2025 birthday trip, and had no car there. They’ve still charged my card almost every day for $60, and a couple of times the money was taken. When the first charge came through, I called and was told I had a car and was paying for parking, even though I didn’t have one. Why keep charging me every day after that? It’s January 2026 now, and they’ve taken another $60. I called again and was told to wait 24 to 48 hours for someone to get back to me. I’m sure I’m not the only person this is happening to. Don’t stay here. They’re taking money from people after they’ve left.

There were cockroaches, visible mold and toenail clippings under the couch, so the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. White powder covered the kitchen, and it turned out to be roach-killing powder. They must know there’s an infestation. The condition of the property ruined our stay. I raised the problem with Churchill Living, the company we booked through, and the front desk, but no one helped. I asked to move rooms and was told the desk couldn’t assist because several different companies manage the building. Churchill Living said someone would inspect the unit, but nobody came. We even cancelled our honeymoon dinner reservation while waiting. We ended up leaving and paying for another hotel, which ruined our last night in Miami. I’ve since read reviews saying guests were charged for parking months after their stay. I’ll flag any future charges with my credit card company so I’m not scammed further. Stay far away from Churchill Living and this property.

The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Phone calls dragged on, email replies were even slower, and they kept asking me for the same document again and again. Check-in will be a nightmare. If you want peace of mind, don’t book anything with Churchill.

The room was filthy, and management still hasn’t addressed our complaint nearly a month later. We stayed September 15-19. The floors were so dirty our feet turned black, and the dishes hadn’t been washed. They said cleaners came Tuesday, but nobody showed up until Wednesday afternoon, taking up most of our short trip. We spent the vacation making repeated calls, and even a request for beach towels wasn’t handled until Wednesday. At least they repaired the broken sofa on Monday night. The location, large room, and pools were nice, but that was about it. We paid a $300 deposit and have been trying for weeks to get a response about our complaint and payment. I wouldn’t book here unless you’re prepared for management to be dishonest and unaccountable after they’ve taken your money.
