Breakfast was the one letdown. It’s a very basic continental spread with no eggs, so keep that in mind if you want something hot in the morning. Otherwise, the Lorraine Hotel was a pleasant stay. Our room was surprisingly spacious, with room for two double beds, and the crew were kind and helpful the whole time. The beach and boardwalk are just a short walk away, so it’s great value for the location and service.

The room was old, dirty, poorly maintained, and had no hot water, making a proper shower impossible. It looked nothing like the misleading photos online. When we tried to explain the problems and ask for the basic things guests should be able to expect, the front desk and management were rude and disrespectful, even threatening to call the police instead of helping. The service was awful, with no accountability or respect. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional treatment. This place shouldn’t be operating as a hotel. Avoid it, it isn’t worth your time, money, or peace of mind.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, the bathroom was cramped with no separate shower, and there wasn’t much closet space. Breakfast is modest too. Still, the beach is only two minutes away, and the location made the stay worthwhile. They include towels and camp chairs, breakfast, and there’s even a luggage scale that came in handy after shopping. The staff were friendly, and getting there from Brightline or the airport was easy. Rooms have plenty of outlets, including USB-C, and BigBus tours, restaurants, and supermarkets are all walkable.

The beach is about a one minute walk away, and they provide free chairs and an umbrella. Staff were really friendly, getting in was easy, and breakfast was included, which was a lifesaver with the kids. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great atmosphere and everyone was helpful. The beach was right nearby, with some really cool restaurants and a shop close too. I stayed here in July for my birthday, and I’ll definitely come back to Lorraine next time I’m in Miami.
