Ocean Reef Suites, South Beach

We got a good deal on a reasonable room in a great location. Rosanna from housekeeping really stood out during our stay. She was working around the lobby, keeping it neat and helping set up and clean up breakfast, always with a warm smile and welcoming manner.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is really prime. The front desk guy and the woman helping with breakfast were both so nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good and fairly priced, no complaints. I'd definitely recommend the place and come back.

The beach is just one block away, and the hotel has reserved beach chairs and towels. Our room had plenty of space for four adults, the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any question or concern, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.

It's a small, clean hotel in a handy spot near South Beach, and they provide a beach chair and towels. That was the main positive, though, since the stay didn't meet expectations. I booked a room with two beds, but one turned out to be a sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable and not suitable for a good night's sleep, and that wasn't clearly explained when I booked. Breakfast was limited and below average, with just drinks and a small pastry selection, no cheese, eggs, waffles, or other hot food. We also had to ask a staff member to serve the pastries instead of taking them ourselves, which was inconvenient and felt unnecessary.
