The staff checked in with me each day by chat to see if I needed anything, and they were very clear about what was included. The reception team was warm and welcoming, too. They also lend out beach towels, folding chairs, and umbrellas, which made trips to the beach much easier. I felt at home right away in my roomy, comfortable room. The pool, laundry room, well-equipped kitchen, and common spaces for relaxing or getting work done were all thoughtfully set up. For the price, it was a great deal. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The furnishings and decor are pretty basic, so this is more of a comfortable place to sleep than a luxury stay. Still, the room was spotless and spacious, with plenty of room to move around. PIN codes make getting into both the property and the room easy, and vent covers let you redirect the AC when its airflow points straight at the bed.

Getting proper help was difficult. The front desk was said to be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but staff were rarely there, phones went unanswered, online chat did not work, and even during those hours they often arrived late. The lack of sleep and comfort made everything worse. Noise came through the thin walls from other rooms and floors, including alarms and babies crying so loudly it felt like they were in my room. The central AC could not be controlled from inside, and the room was excessively cold. Miami was unusually cold during my stay, and I ended up getting sick. Cleanliness was a serious problem. I saw mold on the bathroom tiles and cockroaches on its ceiling. The corridor carpet was old, stained, and very dirty, and food waste sat in large trash containers in the hallways. I also woke up with several bites on my leg, which strongly suggests bed bugs. I had to switch rooms because of changes to my work schedule. The first was manageable, but the second had very weak lighting and made the stay feel far below a reasonable standard. Overall, maintenance, cleanliness, comfort, and guest service were all seriously lacking. I would advise people to stay elsewhere.

We couldn't stay in the room because of the conditions, especially with our allergies and the cold. The ventilation system would not turn off. There was hair and lint on the beds, the sheets were unclean, the sink drain was blocked, and the showerhead was dirty and covered in limescale. The room also looked nothing like the online pictures. We booked online and asked for a refund, but still haven't received a response. There wasn't even a receptionist at the hotel, and it did not meet our expectations.
