Luxury Apartments at 50 Biscayne

The management team is easy to deal with, professional, and responsive. The building is in a great location, has solid amenities, and is well maintained. It's been a positive experience living in a well-run place.

I've lived here for 10 years, but I won't renew my lease because of the management. Since new management came in about a year ago, after recertification laws changed following the Champlain tower collapse in Surfside, the building has gone downhill. Staff treat tenants like garbage, and changes happen without tenant input. They've added License Plate Reader cameras and Facial Recognition in every elevator. Tenants get threatened with fines and tickets for almost anything, including leaving something for your car in your parking spot or driving 2 MPH over the 10mph garage limit. They also target tenants they dislike. I feel like they're trying to rip people off as much as possible. Marcel Gonzales (Assistant Ops manager) and Monica Gonzales (General Manager) are the main problem starters. It's ironic they share a last name. Horrible management. I'd avoid this building. Peace.

It's a very large residential condo building with many units, and it looks new and well constructed. The surrounding area isn't very nice or safe, with many homeless people living around the building.

The front desk staff are the one decent part of this building. The pool deck and balconies are shut down for a 600+ day construction project, something they conveniently left out when I signed the lease. Hallways smell like dog pee and foul food, and the carpets are badly stained. Management seems clueless. It takes over a week to get a response, and you have to make an appointment just to speak to them. The spa has mold, especially in the neglected steam room. Moving in means going through multiple elevators because of the absurd layout. The elevators barely worked for half a year, leaving residents with agonizing waits. What a nightmare. Find somewhere else in downtown Miami with competent management.
