MIA Luxe Properties at Mutiny Park Condominium-Hotel

The unit was in a nice location and looked lovely in the advertised pictures, but the food options around it were disappointing. The restaurant in the building wasn’t great, and most nearby food wasn’t either. For better choices, you’re better off going to the plaza 5 to 8 minutes away or shopping at the fresh market and cooking, which can save money. If the apartment had actually been clean and disinfected, I would have rated it higher. I stayed with my children for 10 days this past July. As a very clean person, I noticed dust and dirt under the dresser and beds while unpacking. The bathrooms and kitchen didn’t smell disinfected. The staff said they cleaned to “CDC” standards, but the counters were filthy and looked like they’d only been wiped with water. The place smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. I had to clean and disinfect everything myself so my children and I could stay comfortably and safely. I sent the woman who coordinated our stay videos and photos of the problems, but she said her cleaning crew had worked for them for five years and were very professional. My children wanted to sleep on the couch bed, but its mattress had a big brown stain. The extra sheets weren’t clean either, so we had to wash them ourselves. I complained, and later had to extend my stay because I was in too much pain to fly home. The woman accommodated the extra two days and said she’d refund the cleaning fee, but I still haven’t seen the refund.
