We liked how cute this renovated old-style motel was, and the front desk gentleman was really friendly. The location worked well too, with places to eat nearby, downtown close by, and the area feeling safe. The room was freezing when we arrived, though. I turned up the heat, but the floors stayed icy under my socks until the next day, maybe because of concrete underneath. We were there for two nights, so slippers would have helped. It might be worth warming rooms before guests arrive when they book ahead.

We visited in the off season, so the food truck was closed, but we'd definitely come back. The remodeled rooms were clean, comfortable, and really nicely done. It's not fancy, just an adorable little motel.

The rooms were a bit smaller than at other hotels we've stayed in, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we'd gladly stay here again.

It's comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the location on the Michigan/Indiana border makes it handy for visiting either state or both. We don't stay in hotels often, but this is our favorite place in Indiana. I highly recommend it.

We liked the nearby dive bar, and the motel itself was cute, updated, and clean. We would've booked here again on our way back, but the prices had gone up. One small thing: a mat by the front door would've helped, since we tracked dirty water in from the parking lot. Still, we'd recommend it.
