At first it seemed like a great spot, but then I noticed what looked like wine or blood stains on the walls and floor. The couch I slept on had 'cream' stains, and the pull-out bed was covered in stuff. There were bugs, the floor felt sticky, and the bathroom lock was broken.

We spent one night here on Christmas Eve in a spacious two-bed room that also had a sleeper sofa. There was central AC, a desk and chair, a coffee corner, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was clean, with a walk-in shower and a barn-style door. The breakfast was meh: no fruit, just the usual bread, bagels, oats, scrambled eggs, and heated frozen sausages. There was also a waffle station, cereal, milk, fruit yogurt, coffee, and a few tea bags. It's safe for families, and parking is free.

I checked into this Spring Hill Suites in Millbrook, Alabama, on 12/16/2025 for one night. The Wi-Fi stopped working within minutes, and the front desk didn't know it was down. They said they'd troubleshoot it, and it came back about three hours later. That night, I could hear kids screaming and pounding on the ceiling above me. They seemed to be jumping off the bed repeatedly while their parents let it go on for an hour or more. At around 9 p.m., I called the front desk and let it ring about 20 times, with no answer. I tried again a few moments later, then kept repeating the calls. The phone rang well over 100 times across those attempts. I just wanted someone from security or the desk to ask the parents to stop the yelling, screaming, and jumping so we could sleep. Eventually I spoke to the parents myself, and they quieted the kids right away. I shouldn't have had to handle it; the staff on duty should have helped. The next morning, I asked the front desk manager why no one had answered. She said, "I left here at 9:00pm and the front desk was very busy. Only ONE PERSON was here to handle the check-ins and the issues. I wish people would understand that with only one person working in the nighttime shift, we can't always provide the kind of service that people expect." I told her this is a Marriott Managed property, and in my opinion there should be enough staff to provide first-class service. Calling repeatedly over a long stretch and getting no answer isn't acceptable. This isn't a Motel 6, no offense to Motel 6. It's a Marriott Property, and we expect professional service. Shame on the management and owners for having ONE PERSON on the night shift at a hotel this size. It's dangerous for guests and for the only worker there. I've stayed here a few times, and the new rooms are clean, spacious, and have wonderful bathrooms. My problem has been getting answers from staff through the app. As a Bonvoy Titanium member, I asked for late checkout during mobile check-in, but never got a yes or no, even though Platinum and higher members are guaranteed that perk. I followed up early in the morning and waited several hours for a reply saying they could only give me a two-hour extension. I could have adjusted my day if they'd told me sooner. They said the staff would be leaving before my requested time, so I hurried back to check out and worked from the lobby instead. The staff who were supposedly leaving before then were still working well after the time I'd requested.
