The place was very clean, from the room to the shared spaces, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast could be better, but the coffee is good, and that's what matters most to me. Thanks for the hospitality and a great stay.

The way the hotel handled our dogs and the extra fee left us wishing we'd simply left. We paid a $75 pet fee online, then I found another $75 charge in my email. Randy told me it was because we had two dogs, but the online booking only said “pet fee,” not a charge per dog. I think they should tell guests before charging them. It felt spiteful. This was during a family Christmas weekend. At check-in, the desk worker was confused that I'd already paid online, though we eventually sorted it out. We dropped our dogs at the room and went to see family, then got three calls saying they were barking and we needed to return. My husband went back to handle them and found a note telling him to visit the front desk. The manager on duty, Randy or Rich, claimed he'd called me ten times, which he hadn't; our phones show call records. He then spoke to my husband in a demoralizing way, even though my husband was already embarrassed about the barking. He brought the dogs back to the family gathering. I found the whole experience horrid. Putting dogs in neighboring rooms seems like a poor idea, since one barking dog can set off all the others.

The layout worked really well for a family, and the suites were spacious, clean, and decorated in a cute, colorful style. The desk staff were both professional and super friendly. We also enjoyed the gym, pool, and breakfast, especially being able to make our own egg sandwiches.

Home2 Suitre by Hilton is a dependable chain hotel with a decent reputation for cleanliness. The room has some comforts of home, including a sink, microwave, mid-sized fridge, and dishwasher if you need them. Breakfast comes with the stay too, which some business hotels don't offer. That makes Home2 my go-to.
