Baymont Inn & Suites Midland Airport

The staff were nice and professional, and the restaurant is a nice Indian cuisine option, though it only serves Indian food. The hotel itself is average, with a decent room and a building that shows its age. The elevator was out of service. They have a strict no-smoking policy, which is nice, but fish and curry smells linger in the stairwell. I’d stay again if I needed to, knowing better what to expect.

A great spot if you’re flying in or out of Midland International Air and Space port. The park-and-fly option is really useful, since parking my car there for the price of a night’s stay often costs less than airport parking. The rooms and facility are older but well kept. Breakfast was hot and good, there were plenty of towels, and hot water came through right away. I didn’t have to wait like I do at many hotels.

The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable, and the elevator hasn’t worked for over a year. The staff, though, were very friendly. I appreciated that they reached out to me, and their sincerity came through. We’ll definitely be back.

The location works well if you’ve got an early flight, but the hotel sits halfway between Odessa and Midland, TX. There’s a restaurant in the hotel, though it serves Indian food, which may or may not suit you. I didn’t see other restaurants nearby, so you may want to pick up something before arriving.
