For the location and breakfast, I’m giving it an extra star, but at about $150 after taxes for one night in a king room, I left disappointed. It felt like an overpriced motel, and the busy interstate right next door was noisy and windy, even though it made access quick and easy. Parking was a problem because semis and commercial vehicles took up dozens of spaces. The room felt stuffy overnight, with sealed windows and elevated CO₂ readings. Keeping the AC on constant circulation didn’t lower the readings. When I cracked the door during the day to let air in, staff or housekeeping banged on it rudely and forced it shut. The room also required a key card to stay inserted for the lights and power, which was frustrating at night and cost us one of our cards. The door key cards were old-fashioned and unreliable too. Late at night, exhausted from the trip, we spent about 20 minutes trying to get into our room, even though this was meant to be an easy stop off the highway. There were other upkeep problems: the tub and drain area were visibly stained and deteriorated, so my fiancée refused to shower. The bedding and mattress area were stained when we arrived, and the room fixtures throughout the property were worn. The elevator felt rough and shaky on the way up. There were no tissues or some other basic amenities, and the loose, worn lamp outlets wouldn’t charge our electronics. Taken together, the condition was well below what the price suggests. The property needs maintenance, modernization, and better parking management.

The rate was good, but the room had a sticky, dirty floor and something had been sprayed to cover up the smell. The water barely dribbled from the shower or sink. The elevator still ran, though it thumped a lot and hesitated.

The breakfast was the one bright spot. They had eggs, sausage, tortillas, biscuits and gravy, though the pitcher drink was Sunny Delight or something similar instead of orange juice. That was surprising given how dated and dirty the motel felt. The lobby registers were filthy, the shower floor dipped in the middle with no grip and felt treacherous, and the elevator was out. We only learned that after booking a third-floor room.

At nearly 190 DLLs a night, this place felt very expensive. The window glass and elevator were dirty, and the bathroom floor was sticky. Its door was beat up and barely stayed locked.
