Victorian Inn

The place was very clean, and the employee was kind and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the rates were really good, $65 for a single. Rockish was very friendly.

It’s fine for a stay, but the beds and towels need maintenance. The room also needs to be cleaned better so guests can feel more comfortable.

The only good parts were being able to park right by the room, a heater that worked perfectly, and a sink tap that had recently been replaced. Everything else made this a huge mistake. We’d stayed in San Antonio the night before for nearly the same price, and the difference in quality was enormous. Thankfully, this was just one night. Worst experience ever. The smell was awful, like an old smoker’s room, even though it was marked non-smoking, and it was enough to give you a headache. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the floor in front of the WC was broken, and the towels felt harsh. The room was so disgusting I didn’t want to shower there. There were stains in the carpet, and the floor cracked underfoot as we walked across the room. Even the bed moved. That bed was the worst I’ve ever slept in, and the pillows were unbelievably thin, like tortillas. The room’s colors, lighting, and furniture were all far from pleasant. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. The photographer did a wonderful job.
