The Inn on North Jefferson

I stayed several nights and found the shared spaces cozy and welcoming. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and I could use the washer and dryer, which made the inn feel like home. The property is beautifully organized, with a charming historic atmosphere and thoughtful touches for guest comfort. The Inn on North Jefferson is the best place I've stayed in Georgia. I'd highly recommend it as a comfortable place to live during a trip, as well as somewhere to sleep.

The owner was so rude on the phone that I booked somewhere else. I was trying to reserve online, and called because I was having trouble. I was looking for somewhere to stay often while visiting my child at school, and I prefer supporting small businesses, so I don't book through third-party sites. In his response, the owner said I wasn't on his website, but I made sure I was. The website issue wasn't what stopped me. He was short and rude, wouldn't listen to what I was trying to explain, and treated me like an idiot. He had only one room booked, and now I know why. Do better with your customer service.

The breakfast was a favorite: you can go whenever you like to the Owner's cafe, the Local Yokal, and order complimentary food from the menu. It's an easy walk from the inn, and the cafe service was great. We stayed three nights in the Glenna room and enjoyed it. Inn keeper Cliff was friendly and welcoming, and fun to talk with. The inn and room were clean and comfortable, and we liked relaxing and reading in the shared spaces each evening. The kitchen had snacks and complimentary coffee. Everything matched the description and pictures, and the location was great. We'd recommend a visit and stay here again if we're in the area. Thanks, Cliff!

I stayed in the Pearl room in November and had a wonderful time. The rooms each have their own bathroom, with a lock and key, and the owners pay close attention to cleanliness and making things easy to use. The property has an interesting history, and the house looked beautiful with its fall decorations. I walked down the street to a local restaurant for complimentary breakfast each morning. A great place in a lovely little town!
