Hampton Inn & Suites Millington

The hotel was clean and the front desk was fairly nice, but I felt miserable here. After a nine-hour drive, I just wanted to relax. I had booked a two-bedroom queen room but was given an accessible room with no bathtub. My son used the toilet and it made a loud, revolting noise for several minutes. They moved us one room over, thankfully to one with a bathtub, and I managed to relax a little. After my son bathed the next morning, I decided to stay another night because I was exhausted. It took nearly an hour to arrange to remain in the room they'd given us the night before. While he was in the tub, a rude guy came to the door and said the room below us was getting water leaking onto them because we were bathing, and told us to stop. When I asked how long for, he rolled his eyes, said he didn't know, and walked off. I got my son out, then another person came to scold us for bathing. They kept talking as if the leak was our fault, even though their pipes weren't our responsibility and they clearly had plumbing trouble before I filled the tub. I was told we could shower, but not for long or with much water. They didn't know when a plumber would arrive. I understand they were defensive and didn't want me blaming them, but that's no way to talk to a guest or make them feel responsible for a bath. If I hadn't been exhausted and already paid, I'd have gone somewhere else. Maybe you get lucky with your room, but this two-night stay wasn't worth the money.
