A short stay here was tolerable, but the place is cheap and clearly hasn't been kept up. The air conditioning didn't work, and the lights were either oddly bright or out. The shower head was loose, too. After 6 p.m., the front office was locked, so you had to talk through flimsy plexiglass and use a beat-up drawer. The owners didn't seem able to be polite. It is what it is.

The room was a decent size, and the tub, bed, towels, fridge, and microwave were clean or working. It was quiet and peaceful for about 97% of my two-day stay. The restroom floor and the area around the toilet could've been cleaner. I got locked out after midnight, and the attendant or manager was extremely rude about my mistake. He tossed the key through the service window with a nasty frown, as if I was happy to have locked myself out. Maps still says 8, though it's actually Super 10 now. Pets aren't allowed, but I brought my caged birds anyway. They can't do any harm. I might come back tonight for a third night.

The rooms are raggedy, and I wouldn't recommend staying here, even if you were desperate. I don't like this hotel. It has already been shut down once, and it's a police hotel. I have nothing to do with this place.

In my opinion, this isn't a place for kids, and it doesn't seem like a good place for a decent person either. It feels more suited to adults who enjoy nightlife and the extra things that go on in life. Children should stay away and never go near it. That's just my opinion, and I know we all have them and aren't always right. God bless, and have a wonderful day.
