Executive Inn Hotel

It was a decent place to stay, and my room was clean. The ceiling over the shower looked water damaged and only partly repaired, though. In the morning nobody was at the front desk.

My family is homeless, and we stay here to get warm on cold nights and during the rainy season. I’ve had more than one stay where the bedroom heater didn’t work, and only once has it worked in a room we used. After I raised several issues, including a remote with no batteries and TVs that didn’t work, management told me not to come back. I was also told I couldn’t get a refund if I stayed, and that they could move us but couldn’t promise the next room would have a working heater. There are other places in the same price range. Now, because I’ve complained several times, the manager who is usually on duty during the week has started charging me a $50 deposit. Tonight, after we came back from the hospital following an ER visit for my husband, we were moved twice. One bathroom had someone else’s clothes in it, a dirty toilet, and toilet paper left unflushed. I told the manager that if they wouldn’t let their own mother stay in that room, they shouldn’t give it to a guest. There were people banging on the next room’s door at 1:44am. We just needed a warm room with the accommodations listed on the website, but the information there isn’t accurate. The photos are misleading and false, and I think Google should check whether this place meets the standards it claims. Very sad. Good luck to anyone who chooses to sleep here.

The bathroom was filthy, with grime everywhere, and the shower curtains were moldy. The floor throughout the hotel was so slippery that walking around felt unsafe. I also couldn’t watch TV because the remote only had one battery and was useless. I arrived with my guy friend on November 14, and the place felt neglected from the start. It was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I’d never recommend it or return. If cleanliness, safety, or basic comfort matter to you, stay somewhere else.

There are plenty of shops nearby, including a big strip mall just up the street, and it felt safe to walk around. It’s a nice, fairly peaceful area despite all the traffic. The hotel is dated and older, but the staff were friendly and it’s right by the I-680 exit.
