Hyatt Place Milwaukee/Downtown

The view was perfect, and we got to watch the fireworks. We loved that part of the stay. Grace was welcoming and professional while checking people in, greeting everyone warmly as we waited in line. A couple of days after we left, I spotted a $45.32 Hyatt Place charge while checking my account. I called and spoke with Melissa, who said it was for valet parking on 12/31/2025. That couldn't be right: we took an Uber and walked to the entrance with our bags and food because cars were lined up from the door to the street. Melissa said she'd check with valet and get back to me. I still hadn't heard anything by 1/5/2026. I also called on 1/3/2026 and spoke with someone at the front desk. As of 1/5/2026, it was solved! I might have let a smaller charge go, but billing me for something I didn't use and then not following up as promised isn't okay. Please check the details before putting a charge on someone's bill. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everyone was great. Valet was especially good, with kind attendants who stayed attentive. The location couldn't have been better. I'd highly recommend Hyatt Place.

We were in town for a wedding and had a really good stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and accommodating, but the staff made it memorable. The front desk, valet, and housekeeping teams were friendly, helpful, and professional every time we dealt with them. They made us feel welcome throughout. I'd happily recommend the hotel, especially for the service.

Avery was the man at valet, and the service was quick every time all weekend. The staff overall were fantastic and kind. The hotel is also close enough to walk to everything downtown.
