The gym was a surprise: I've never stayed at a hotel where every single piece of exercise equipment worked, and it was all top-of-the-line gear. Josef also made a fantastic first impression for a Delta branded hotel, and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly. We only stayed one weekend night, during a couple of large events, and the hotel was quiet apart from the lobby. Our room was spotless and in good repair, although its carpet looked a little worn. It faced the parking lot, but we could see downtown Minneapolis. The location might seem out of the way, yet it worked well for us: 10 minutes to friends, 10 minutes downtown, and about 20 minutes to downtown St. Paul and Mall of America. For the price and location, it's a great hotel. The Marriott app and email mentioned a nearby cider brewery, which we tried and liked. Good coffee shops are about four minutes away.

Nice hotel, but breakfast and the other usual extras aren't free. My Silver level profile asks for foam pillows, yet I spent two bad nights with giant king-size feather pillows. If your preferences are really needs, call ahead.

We picked this place after weighing a nearby hotel against one just outside downtown for a show at the MN state theater. I'm glad we booked here. The rooms are clean and the whole property seems well kept. We were hungry, and the restaurant attached to the hotel delivered to our room quickly. I'd recommend it for downtown Minneapolis events or just a getaway. This is the only hotel I'll book in the Minneapolis area.

For $175 a night, I expected hot coffee in the lobby or a breakfast spread, as I've found at quite a few hotels. Here, there's no hot coffee unless you buy Starbucks in the lobby, which is a hard pass, and no breakfast unless you go to the attached restaurant. Otherwise, it's a super nice, clean hotel with a great fitness center, and the front desk staff were very nice. My room was spacious and clean.

It's a little outside the city, around 7 to 10 minutes away by Uber. The rooms are large and have good quality amenities, so it's great value for money. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay.
