Red Roof Inn & Suites Monee

This is by far the nicest Red Roof Inn we've stayed at while traveling around the country for my husband's job. The room is huge, and so is the TV. The bed even has a blanket, lol, instead of that paper-towel-feeling bedspread from 1980. Plenty of towels and soap, and it's VERY CLEAN. It's not a 5-star hotel, but it's definitely nicer than some places I've stayed. The entrance doors actually lock, so I feel completely safe while my hubby is at work. There's also a nice, clean heated pool. So far, it's been great! My husband is a man of few words, but check-in took him no more than 10 minutes. I said, "Wow, that was fast!" and he said the young lady at the front desk was a sweetheart. Great customer service, friendly and professional. She wasn't sitting on her phone or acting like we were an inconvenience.

The staff were welcoming, professional, and warm. My room was large, clean, and really comfortable, with an office desk, a good workspace, a fridge, and a microwave. It's a very quiet place if you want to work or just relax and rest. I think I smelled maple bacon in the dining area, but I was too exhausted to indulge. It has a home-away-from-home feeling. I highly recommend it.

Mani helped us out and was friendly and considerate. He took care of what we needed and was very accommodating. I'd recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that the guy at reception was nice. I wasn't satisfied with the room: the pillows and sheets weren't clean enough, and there wasn't any coffee or tea at breakfast.
