Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh - Monroeville by IHG

The lobby is on the second floor, with the pool downstairs on the first floor/basement. Rooms were nice, the place was clean and modern, and staff were great. No key card needed to get in or use the elevator. 10/10, I'd come back.

I've stayed here more than four times this year, and the hotel itself is new with clean rooms. Usually I don't ask for late checkout or early check-in, even though I'm a Diamond Elite, unless I really need it. This time a family member was sick and needed more time to rest, so I asked for a late checkout. The front desk staff were extremely rude. I understand being told no if it's done politely, but the attitude left me very disappointed. I've been an IHG Diamond Elite for over 10 years, and I don't know if they treat everyone this way.

I'm in the middle of booking a flight from Kuala Lumpur to new York, for 23 to 27 Feb, to attend the Lycoming engine overhaul course at Pennyslvania college of technology. We had booked the Extended Stay America across the street, but it was so disgusting that we walked out and canceled. We came here instead and were glad we did. It was a great, clean stay.
