Sole East Resort

The pool area is wonderfully relaxing, and the poolside staff bring food and drinks while you tan or lounge. I’ve also eaten at the Sole East restaurant several times with family and friends. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, the staff are so friendly, and they bring in talented live bands and DJs on weekends, one of my favorite things about the resort. Sole East Resort is easily my favorite place for weekends in MTK. My friends and family only stay here when we visit. We know the staff by now, including Thomas the managing director, who’s always accommodating and makes sure we have a great stay. If you’re choosing somewhere in MTK, it won’t disappoint. And if you’re just passing through, I’d highly recommend stopping in for the day.

The bathroom ceiling fell on one of us while we were showering in room 124. Property manager Thomas verbally offered a full refund for the trouble. After we left, they changed their position and offered credit toward a future stay instead of honoring that full refund. Beware (:

We’ve stayed at the sole east resort three years running, and somehow I love it more each time. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool is fabulous with beds all around it, and the staff couldn’t be kinder or more accommodating. It’s cool and sexy, with everything you need and then some. The hospitality is what really makes Sole East stand out. Dave, the owner, is so welcoming and kind, and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. You can tell he cares about every guest’s experience. That kind of personal attention is rare these days. The food is amazing too, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish feels carefully made and delicious. For great vibes, good food, and hospitality that makes you want to return, Sole East is the place. Highly recommend!
