The staff were welcoming and helpful during my visit, and the property seemed reasonably organized and maintained. Parking was convenient, and it was quiet enough to get a comfortable night’s rest. My room was spacious, simple, and functional, with useful amenities that made the stay relaxing and stress free. Capitol Inn & Suites Montgomery was an affordable, convenient base for getting to downtown Montgomery attractions, nearby restaurants, shopping, and major roads. It’s a solid budget-friendly option for visiting the city.

The bathroom was filthy, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and it was very noisy. The area felt sketchy, and checking out took about half an hour. It wasn’t even that cheap. Awful hotel, don’t stay here.

You wouldn’t guess it from the outside, but the room was really nice and comfortable. There were ants coming onto the sink and vanity, though I’ve run into ants in hotel rooms before. For the quality, the rate was definitely worth it, and I’d stay again.

The new management is great, but the rooms feel dated and there wasn’t any hot water for a shower.

Don’t do it. The area felt bad enough that I thought I might get robbed or have my car broken into overnight. The room looked rough and very outdated. At least it had hot running water and I didn’t find bugs, including bed bugs in the bed, but it was still a rough night.
