Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Montgomery East I-85

We had a pleasant, clean overnight stop at Country Inn Sts Radisson, Montgomery, AL while traveling south. The lobby, hallways and room all smelled nice, and everything looked clean. The desk staff were kind in the evening and again in the morning, with no hassles. Thanks to the staff!

I've been here twice, and it's a decent place for the price. Clean and quiet, and the young woman at reception is very nice. It seems they're still in the middle of switching over to their new brand.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had. When I arrived, I was told they could only take cash, no debit or credit cards, so as a visitor I had to go find somewhere to get cash. Once I returned, they couldn't put my two booked rooms together and had to search for rooms. Then there were no keys, so I waited for someone with a master key just to see the rooms. We're from out of town and had booked two rooms. One room had roaches in the tub, a peeling tub that looked freshly painted, and a moldy smell. In the other, used towels were hanging in the shower and there was no light. The young man at the desk was new and didn't seem to know what he was doing, but he tried to help. We were locked out for two hours because we had no key. In the morning, the desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. After all that, we asked for more towels and were refused. I will never stay here again.

Smooth check-in, a cozy bed and clean rooms made for a great stay. The young woman at the desk was welcoming and attentive, and housekeeping was a big help.
