The meeting and gathering spaces were thoughtfully designed, and I appreciated how calm the property felt. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with modern amenities that made the visit convenient. The whole hotel and convening center looked clean, polished, organized, and professionally managed. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the location made it easy to get to Montgomery attractions and nearby restaurants. Elevation Convening Center and Hotel delivered welcoming service and modern accommodations in a peaceful setting. A wonderful option for conferences, retreats, business trips, or a relaxing stay in Montgomery.

The library was the standout discovery for me, though I kept finding new things at the hotel each day. I was there for a restorative retreat and arrived without knowing anything about the place. The property impressed me visually first, then the staff's professionalism did too. What an amazing hotel. I can't wait to return with my family.

After full days visiting historic sites and sitting with some very heavy history, it was grounding to come back to Elevation. I was there for a leadership retreat in Montgomery, and the hotel became part of the experience, not just somewhere to sleep. The whole place felt calm and intentional throughout the week, with beautiful, thoughtful design. The staff were consistently welcoming and professional, and the atmosphere made it easier to reflect and rest. I was especially struck by the spaces that encourage you to slow down, particularly the library. Elevation is special, and I'd absolutely return.

Calvetta Smith made my friend’s birthday stay feel special. She was warm, professional, attentive, and quick to help, and her service is a big reason we had such a memorable visit. Elevation is black-owned, and the pride and hospitality really come through. The panoramic room was stunning and worth the price. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around it, with automatic curtains, plus a separate living room and dining table. There’s also a guest bathroom, bar sink, fridge and freezer, Nespresso machine, and tea kettle. The shower is huge, with a double vanity that feels spa-like. And the ice machine has nugget ice! The room also came with eleven86 water bottles. The whole property felt clean, modern, thoughtfully designed, and welcoming. There’s nothing else like Elevation in Montgomery, Alabama. We’ll be back, and I’ll recommend it to everyone I know.

The hotel’s design honors the Gee’s Bend Quilters, and several of them joined our conference to share their stories. I appreciated that connection to local culture and history, as well as the hotel’s community investment. The staff name tags even highlight the neighborhoods they come from. Although I didn’t visit the EJI sites on this trip, I value the way the hotel honors them. We were the first conference the hotel hosted, with about 60 of us arriving two days before its official opening. The team was still finishing details, but made sure we had what we needed. Staff were kind, attentive, and professional, and the property was beautifully prepared. The conference space was comfortable and well designed, the food was good, and service was top-notch. My room had a comfortable bed, several showerheads, and a plush robe. From the sixth floor I could see downtown Montgomery lit green in honor of Veterans. My colleagues and I come to Montgomery now and then for work protecting the history of the Black Belt. This will be our go-to hotel, and we’ll recommend it to others. I’m looking forward to seeing the next phases come to life.
