Sonesta ES Suites Montgomery

We waited almost half an hour at the desk just to check in, then found roaches all over the suite we had paid extra for. They were in the stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, shower, and every drawer, with the dishwasher being the worst. There was no breakfast, probably because of the infestation. We took photos of everything. After a long drive we were exhausted, and since we'd booked through a third party and the cancellation deadline had passed, we couldn't get our money back. We grabbed only our clothes so the roaches wouldn't get into our luggage, and slept with the lights on hoping they wouldn't get in the bed. We even considered sleeping in the car. It was the worst hotel experience we've had, and we'll never stay at another Sonesta.

We left three days early and couldn't get a refund because we booked through a third party. The room had roaches and mold, and we took at least 30 pictures. Absolutely horrific. The health department should shut this place down.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and had all the amenities I wanted: a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, plus free Wi-Fi. I really enjoyed my stay. Wonderful hotel!

This place was truly horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The rates seem false; you'll see what I mean when you pull into the lot. Every parking space seemed to have a broken-down, abandoned, or junk car or truck in it. People were sitting outside around the property with card tables and making noise, and I didn't feel it was safe. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk, and the clerk couldn't be found. The lobby ceiling was dry-rotted. Think twice before booking, and drive around the property first.
