The room was okay, but the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning.

The price was good, and the people were great. The son speaks perfect English, and the office was helpful.

The rooms are tiny and badly outdated, and the owners get annoyed over small things. I asked for toilet paper and got complaints. I brought clothes into my room and they complained about that too. Be ready for people who seem to be under the influence to come right to your room door or car asking for lighters and rides. Management doesn’t stop it, and seems to encourage it. Meals on Wheels drops off food here weekly for people struggling with homelessness and drug use, which gives you a sense of the place. There’s also a stray cat outside that people feed and look after, but the owners get mad when anyone feeds it. This is somewhere to go when you have nowhere else.

It’s a family-run business, and they made me feel like part of the family. Anything I asked for, they were happy to help with. I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but taking a chance turned out to be my best decision. It’s under new management, and the customer service really shows the difference. I’ll definitely come back.

For $58 a night on Priceline, it’s hard to beat the price. The place is quiet, and after a couple of days I haven’t had any problems. No roaches, which is hard to find among Montgomery’s cheap hotels and motels. It’s not fancy, the paint needs work, and it wasn’t the cleanest, but if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower, it does the job. Don’t expect a high-end room. We got put in a first room that I guess hasn’t been renovated yet. One wall had awful black and blue paint, and there was a 12-inch TV. There’s new management now. I’ve seen old reviews mentioning shootings and hookers, but those were from 7-8 years ago, and people here keep to themselves.
