The bathrooms, showers, and laundry area are always clean, with plenty of water pressure. Management goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. It's a quiet, well-kept RV campground, and I'll stay here any time I'm in the Montrose area!

Our yurt was cozy and right beside the creek. We were just passing through on our way to other adventures, so we went into town for food and had a nice evening. I did notice some guests weren't following the leash rule for pets. We kept to the rules, but felt a little wary when other dogs came up to us.

Flooding on wolf Creek Pass forced us to change our plans, so we got in touch with these folks and landed in a really cool little yurt. It was cute and cozy, and I'd never stayed in one before.

We needed somewhere at the last minute for two couples and stayed in a tiny house. It worked well for us, though we left before we could really enjoy everything. Being right next to the river was lovely and relaxing.

We were out before the office opened on our last morning because of my daughter's swim meet, and when we came back that evening there were still bugs, although fewer than the first night. The manager asked how they were and said she didn't think the cabin should be rented out, as she already knew about the problem. In her 8/01/25 response, she called it bug season. I don't think knowingly renting an infested place is acceptable. I do appreciate that management eventually replied, committed to doing better and preventing future issues, and refunded our stay. Best of luck. My family stayed in the Black Canyon Cabin, and the office was closed when we arrived. After a day of travel, we found flying bugs throughout every room, on the beds, pillows, walls, floors, and windows. I swept up hundreds, both dead and alive. We bought essential oils, plug-ins, and citronella candles, and wiped down walls and windows with disinfectant, but they kept coming in. Nobody got much sleep, and we woke up to bugs on the beds, pillows, floors, and walls. On the second evening we cleaned again and taped the windows where we could. We saw old tape remnants, and the bugs seemed to slow once we taped, but they were still getting in. We kept the windows shut and didn't leave the door open. The front door didn't close completely, which felt like a security concern, and I can't say whether bugs came through there. The supposedly enclosed porch had many rips and tears, including large openings. The photos were taken after we cleaned up. We also had to clean hair from the linens, fridge, and throughout the cabin, and the linens had blood stains.
