Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Durham Airport

The front desk guy was really cordial, and both rooms were comfortable, clean, and had a nicer feel than most lower-to-mid-priced hotels I've stayed in. We booked two rooms through a third-party app for our group. Breakfast was limited and served in a small space: bagels, muffins, two yogurt flavors, a waffle maker, orange and apple juice, plus butter, jelly, and maple syrup. That's all they had. It's a comfortable, clean place for an overnight visit with people in Raleigh. It's a bit outside the city, but the price made it worthwhile. I'd stay again if we need another night there.

They took my accessibility needs seriously when I unexpectedly needed a room after missing my flight at the Durham airport. As a disabled veteran, that kind of consideration really matters. They listened and arranged a first-floor room near the door for safety and convenience, without hesitation. In a stressful moment, having someone adjust things so readily made a real difference. The staff were kind and professional, check-in went smoothly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I'm very grateful for their compassion and respect. I'd gladly return, and I'd recommend the hotel to other travelers with disabilities who need a place that cares.

The location makes this a decent place for a short stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended one. I'd been there over a month when they threatened to cancel my stay because I wouldn't let them into my room to clean. They had cleaned the day before, and all that needed changing was the trash. There was a weed smell in the hallways and stairwells, and they wouldn't let me contact the owners.

This has turned into my favorite small hotel in Morrisville. I really recommend it. The waffles are great. I hope they add some protein, like eggs and sausage, to breakfast someday. Blessings 😇🙏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
