The price might look tempting, but it wasn’t worth it. The place was extremely dirty, and there were bugs in our towels. When I first walked in, I found an unexplained liquid on the bathroom floor and condoms in the trash. There was no AC or heating system, and the other residents seemed extremely sketchy. She came into our room without permission and moved things around. I left, and she didn’t care at all. Please don’t stay here. You might as well make a bed in your car.

I’ve been traveling to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay for business over the past year, and this was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at. The rooms felt cramped, small, and dirty. There was black hair around the bathroom, including on the toilet seat, and the shower was tiny and dirty. The bathroom door was damaged and wouldn’t shut unless you slammed it, which woke everyone in the room. There’s no AC, just one fan, which wasn’t nearly enough to move the air through a suite. We were told the suite would have three queen beds, but it had two full queen beds and a pullout spring mattress on the couch instead. That wasn’t a real bed, and it had just one thin, dirty sheet. When my husband and I asked the front desk for clean sheets and a blanket, a woman I’m pretty sure was the owner kept refusing. She said the beds already had them, even after I explained that the pullout only had that one thin sheet. She was rude, and after arguing, I got just one extra sheet. The website was very misleading. The rooms were expensive, too, and under new management it’s a shame they aren’t doing a better job. I’d never return or recommend this place unless someone had no other room options.

I kept the bed bugs I found in a cup and took them straight to the manager in tears. They were on my bed and my disabled daughter’s sheets, but the manager only looked at them and shook her head. I’d stayed at Holland inn for the light boat parade, and woke up at 3am on Sunday after a whole weekend there. I packed everything into trash bags, threw most of it away, and washed and froze what I could bring home. I’m still recovering and hoping I didn’t bring an infestation into my home. I wasn’t going to post about this, but Booking.com and the accommodation failed to give me a full refund. We were in room 107, their executive suite. Save yourself the trouble, even if the deal sounds sweet.

We had a bed and shower for a couple nights away from home, so it served that purpose. I booked a queen single and got a double. The floor was so dirty that after a short walk from the bed to the outside sink, my feet were black. There was no liner in the bathroom trash can, and the mattress was really hard. Our room was by the road near the entrance. People smoked and chatted all night while we were trying to sleep. We also kept hearing people rearranging beds, which was weird.

There was barely room to fit a suitcase because a king bed took up most of the tiny room. The place also seemed more like a weekly living motel, and the parking lot didn’t feel very safe. My reservation couldn’t be refunded, but I left and went to a much nicer hotel down the road. Don’t waste your money here.
