The kitchenette had a microwave, full oven, and fridge, which was handy. We also had a very comfortable bed, a strong shower, plenty of outlets and charging points, free parking, and good WiFi. Check-in service was pleasant, and the motel is close to the Embarcadero and restaurants. A very reasonable price for what you get.

The staff make you feel like they've known you forever, and the whole place has a wonderful atmosphere. I’m so happy to stay at Pleasant Inn again, this is my second visit this year, and I’m planning three or four more. My room was beautiful, with colors and furniture that really worked well. Most of the rooms have been restored. There's favor in the air 😉👍🏖🌊

Trying to book a family room was frustrating. I called with questions about the cancellation policy, then rang back several times that afternoon and left a voicemail asking for a return call, but heard nothing. When I finally reached someone the next day, they said the room had been booked before my first call, which didn't match what I'd been told during that conversation. The poor communication delayed our travel planning. I wouldn't choose this hotel given how difficult it was to book, and I hope they become more responsive with time-sensitive reservations.

The office was easy to communicate with and accommodated my late arrival, so checking in and out was no trouble. They were also incredibly pet friendly. The manager and my dog adored each other, and she gave me an extra blanket to make him comfortable. My room was quiet, nicely decorated, and by far the cleanest I've ever stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. It made my birthday trip better than I could've hoped for. I don't plan to stay at another hotel in the area.

The room was clean, but there wasn't much privacy or proper lighting. No desk to sit at, and nowhere to plug in a hairdryer.
